Heather
Registered Dental Hygienist
Heather is our wonderful hygienist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Tennessee and has been a practicing dental hygienist for 20 years. Her clinical passion centers on patient education and building lasting relationships with the individuals and families she treats.
She moved to the Texas Hill Country two years ago with her husband of 25 years and their two children and have absolutely fallen in love with the community and landscape. She looks forward to meeting you in the chair and helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile!
Dolores
Dental Assistant
For all the years Dr. Mackie has been practicing dentistry—and that’s now more than 31 years—Dolores has been a dental assistant in his practice. She assists him during all procedures, takes x-rays, impressions and photos, does all ordering for the office clinical supplies and helps with treatment planning and coordinating appointments.
Originally from Harlingen, TX, Dolores moved to San Antonio in July 2015. At work, she particularly enjoys meeting new people and the chance to learn more. “I never get tired of learning new things or helping people be happy with their smiles,” she says. Dolores and her husband, Martin, have been married for 19 years and have two sons and daughter. In her spare time, she enjoys crossword puzzles, movies, bicycling and travel.
Sabrina
Dental Assistant
Sabrina has been a dental assistant since 2007, always bringing a smile and a positive attitude to the dental office atmosphere.
Joining the team at Dr. Kurt Mackie Dentistry in May of 2023 she knew it would be a great opportunity and the next step in her career.
Outside of work Sabrina is a mother of twins who are Marine Corps veterans and enjoys spending her free time with her husband outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking, and most definitely fishing.
Crystal
Dental Assistant
Crystal began her dental career 17 years ago as a registered dental assistant. As a mother of two, she enjoys the precious moments of seeing the world through her children’s eyes as they grow together as a family with love and faith. Her current role combines with front office and clinical work as assisting. Patients appreciate her dental and compassionate chairside manner. Crystal is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. Her beautiful smile and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs. Crystals love of dentistry really shines through with her delivery of comprehensive, compassionate care for all patients.
Elizabeth
Dental Assistant
As an aspiring future dentist, Elizabeth has been surrounded by the dental field for almost 7 years through dental shadowing and orthodontic assisting. With lots of curiosity and enthusiasm for providing exceptional dental care, Elizabeth serves as an assistant to all parts of the office. While she enjoys working in the lab, she loves connecting with patients and making them feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. Elizabeth graduated from Texas A&M University-College Station with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and is currently applying to dental school to soon become a dentist herself!
Outside of the office, Elizabeth loves spending time with her incredible husband. They enjoy going on adventures across Texas visiting friends and family. You can often find Elizabeth baking, reading, or soaking up the beautiful Hill Country nature on walks or runs.
Daniel
Dental Assistant
Daniel is new to the dental field and graduated from the Dental Assisting School of Texas in November 2025. His journey into dentistry began as a volunteer, where he was excited to gain hands-on experience and learn more about the profession. In May 2026, he joined our team and began his first paid position as a part-time dental assistant.
He is friendly, easygoing, and always eager to learn. He enjoys learning from the other dental assistants and taking every opportunity to grow his skills and knowledge. He has experience with sterilization and instrument maintenance, and when the schedule is slower, he enjoys observing the other assistants as they work with patients.
Outside of the office, he lives with his parents and his maltipoo, Maisie. In his free time, he enjoys collecting figures, writing stories, and going on walks with his father. He is excited to continue growing in the dental field and looks forward to building his skills and creating positive experiences for our patients.
Natalia
Office Coordinator
Natalia is part of the Front Office team at Mackie Dental and has been with the practice for over 2 years, where she enjoys welcoming our patients and helping make every visit a positive experience from start to finish. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas and is certified in Medical Billing and Coding.
She is a proud mom of four beautiful children that she loves and adores and they keep her very busy. She loves to spend time with her husband and dogs, enjoying time together and making memories.
Sherice
Office Administrator
With 15 years of experience in the dental field, Sherice has had the privilege of working in dental administration and helping create a welcoming and positive experience for patients. She truly enjoys being part of a dental team and building relationships with the patients and families we serve.
Outside of the office, she is a proud spouse and parent of three children. Her family also includes their beloved dog, who keeps life fun and busy! When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and making the most of life’s everyday moments.
She is grateful to have spent the past 15 years in dentistry and looks forward to continuing to make each patient feel comfortable, cared for, and valued.
